How to Search for Orders

Once an order is placed within your DistributorCentral account, you will be able to come back to the order at anytime. DistributorCentral's comprehensive order search provides several ways to find orders in your account whatever the status is, and however long ago it was entered. Below are some of the best ways to search for an order in your DistributorCentral account: 

Finding an order in your account if you know the order number you are looking for:

  1. From your distributor dashboard, to the top of your screen, you will see the "Products" search bar, click on Products and change the selection to Order # (Customer)
  2. Type the order number in the search field to the right of the order button 
  3. Click the yellow search button to the far right of the search field (its a magnifying glass icon)
  4. If the system is able to find that order record, you will be take to the Order summary page.
  5. If the order number wasn't found, it could be because of a typo in the number, or because the order status had been changed to "Void". Click the Search again link on the "...no orders found..." page
  6. On the next page, you can select to search through orders with the "Void" status 

Another popular way to find an order is to use our Recent Order Feature: 

  1. From your distributor dashboard, to the upper right of your screen, you will see the Orders drop down menu, click on it to open
  2. When the drop down opens up, you will have "New Orders", "On Hold", and "Recent Orders" 
  3. Click Recent Orders to view orders received in the last 30 days

If you don't have the order number, and the order was place longer than 30 days ago, you can use our Order Search Tool: 

  1. From your distributor dashboard, in the left menu, click the Orders drop down menu
  2. Within the drop down, find and click on Orders again
  3. Finally, choose Orders from Customers 
  4. You will be taken to the "Search for Orders" page to start searching, below is breakdown of each search field you can use to find your order: 
    1. Order No. - find order by the DistributorCentral order number assigned when the order was created
    2. PO No. - search for the order using the PO number you or your customer assigned to the order
    3. Order Status - defaults to all statuses except voided orders, but can be changed to search through any status
    4. Product No. - search orders for a specific product
    5. Artwork comments - if you remember a specific note within the artwork comments, you can search that field on the order
    6. Customer Company Name - search orders by the customer assigned to the order
    7. Contact - find a specific customer by the following contact's information
      1. First Name 
      2. Last Name
      3. Email Address
      4. Phone No. 
    8. Shipping Address - look through orders with specific shipping information
      1. City
      2. State
      3. Zip
  5. The above order search filters can be used in conjunction with the the date ranges filters at the bottom of the page: 
    1. Created Date: Search From *** Days to today ( go back 365 days or more if you need to find an order that was created within that time range) 
    2. Requested Ship Date: Search From *** Days to today ( go back 365 days or more if you need to find an order that with a ship date within that time range) 
    3. Actual Ship Date: Search From *** Days to today ( go back 365 days or more if you need to find an order that was shipped within that time range)
